MEP Commissioning Engineer Job Description

As a MEP Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of MEP systems in the Align C1 Project. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the commissioning phase, ensuring that all equipment, systems, and machinery are properly commissioned and meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning Plan Development: Estimate commissioning durations, write the Commissioning Plan, and ensure it achieves the scheme deliverables as agreed by the design team, construction team, and Operations.
  • Plan Review and Update: Review and update the plan as necessary in consultation with the project team to reflect changes during the commissioning period.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure correct approval procedures are adhered to and all stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Commissioning Implementation: Carry out the implementation of the plan as a whole in accordance with approved HS2 and Align JV Commissioning Procedures, Align JV HSEQ procedures, and all relevant HS2 Standards and Specifications.
  • Performance Testing: Manage and deliver dry (and wet CM1) commissioning and any relevant performance testing of the new plant, ensuring all applicable standards and specifications are met at all times during the commissioning phase.
