MEP Commissioning Engineer - Quality and Commissioning Manager (Tunnelling)

People Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled MEP Commissioning Engineer to join our team as a Quality and Commissioning Manager (Tunnelling) for the HS2 project in the northern home counties.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans to ensure the safe and reliable operation of MEP systems, in accordance with HS2 and Align JV standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the project team to review and update commissioning plans, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage and deliver commissioning activities, including dry and wet CM1 testing, to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the commissioning process.
  • Contribute to the development of commissioning procedures and guidelines, in consultation with the project team and relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate commissioning durations and develop commissioning plans to achieve project deliverables.
  • Review and update commissioning plans to reflect changes during the project commissioning period.
  • Ensure correct approval procedures are followed and stakeholders are informed throughout the commissioning process.
  • Implement commissioning plans in accordance with approved HS2 and Align JV Commissioning Procedures and relevant standards and specifications.
  • Manage and deliver commissioning activities, including dry and wet CM1 testing, to ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MEP commissioning and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of HS2 and Align JV standards and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective commissioning plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
