Wicksteed Park Safeguard Specialist

About the JobWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our security team. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring a flexible person who can work 11-hour shifts, including weekends and nights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and park property.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer experiences, working independently without supervision.
- Set a positive example by wearing the correct uniform and promoting a professional image.
- Address antisocial behavior in line with company policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicate with emergency services, police, and other authorities as necessary.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints and take corrective action when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of customer facilities, including equipment and toilet areas.
- Promote customer events and enhance engagement with our heritage attractions.
- Be visible and approachable, receiving feedback from visitors and stakeholders while ensuring the right teams are informed.
- Manage security of keys and access codes for buildings, areas, and gates.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company policies regarding employment.
- Adhere to data protection and GDPR guidelines for safe storage, record keeping, and disposal of customer lost property and CCTV footage.
- Utilize the employee value framework to manage your performance.
- Commit to ongoing training, participating in sessions and applying learned knowledge in the workplace.
- Be at least 21 years old and hold a full driving license.
- Be willing to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Undergo DBS checks or complete relevant background screenings.
- Prior experience operating CCTV and monitoring equipment is essential.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (approximately £12.22 per hour)
