Electronics Design and Development Opportunity

As an Electronics Design and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronics for automotive engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronics for automotive engineering projects
  • Design low voltage analog and digital electronics
  • Specify and capture requirements according to process and industry design standards
  • Support device selection for Microcontrollers and FPGAs
  • Participate in design reviews of electronics/software projects
  • Prepare and release component specifications, Bill of Materials, and drawings
  • Test and verify power electronics devices and assemblies
  • Investigate and resolve development, launch, and ongoing quality issues involving electronic assemblies
  • Implement engineering change requests and maintain detailed design records
  • Prepare and review electronic design documentation
Requirements:
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
  • Analog and digital design skills
  • Knowledge of standard busses such as SPI, UART, and interfacing to external components like Flash memory and ADCs
  • Failure mode avoidance experience with knowledge of associated processes such as DFMEA and FTA
  • Design of low voltage analog and digital electronics for automotive ECUs
  • Experience implementing automotive communication busses such as CAN and Flexray
