Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our team in the Department of Pathology, working under the supervision of Dr Betty Chung. The project aims to unravel the intricate translational regulatory mechanisms governing host-pathogen interactions, with a focus on decoding the molecular dynamics and triggers that influence virulence, pathogenicity, and innate immunity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong background in a relevant subject, such as microbiology, biochemistry, or molecular biology.
  • Excellent academic credentials, including (or expected to obtain) a UK 2.1 or higher in an undergraduate honours or Masters degree.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic research environment.
