About the Role:

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our residential service in Folkestone. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that individuals gain more independence in their daily lives and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the service, including developing and implementing person-centered support plans, conducting care needs assessments, and recruiting and inducting new colleagues.
  • Lead a team to ensure that individuals gain more independence in their daily lives and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Work alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care and support.
  • Manage the service's P&L, ensuring that regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met.
  • Conduct supervisions and appraisals, complete medication competencies and audits, and attend multi-disciplinary meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
