With over 48 employment specialists across the country, the team provides a specialist employment law and HR advisory service to a range of companies from PLCs to SMEs. This includes advice on disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancy, restructures and strategic advice to senior management teams and boards.

The team is passionate about supporting their lawyers in their career development and client relationships. About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate or Managing Associate, ideally 3+ PQE, to join our friendly and dynamic team based in Leicester. The successful candidate will work directly with the head of the Employment, Pensions and Immigration team, Rena Magdani.

The nature of the work is fast-paced, and our clients' interests are paramount. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm, energy and passion for employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, have exceptionally strong communication skills and work well in a team. The team takes a holistic approach to their work, offering a corporate level of service with a personal touch, and over 90% of their work involves acting for the employer.

This role would suit someone who is looking to get involved in business development as the team continues to experience rapid growth. It is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and eager individual to make a reputation for themselves in a highly regarded national firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist employment law and HR advisory services to a range of companies
  • Advise on disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancy, restructures and strategic advice
  • Work closely with the head of the Employment, Pensions and Immigration team, Rena Magdani
  • Contribute to business development and growth of the team

Requirements
