Job Role: HR Advisor/ Employment Law

Salary: £40,000

Location: Leicester

Working Hours: Monday-Friday

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team, specializing in Employment Law. As a key member of the operations team, you will provide employment law and HR advice to clients, working closely with the consultancy, advice line, and business development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering telephone and email advice on employment matters, ensuring best practice and commercially practical solutions.
  • Provide expert advice on complex employment law and HR issues, including redundancies, disciplinary procedures, TUPE, absence management, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure consistent delivery of services to clients, providing continuity of advice and support for complex issues.
  • Effectively manage a small client bank, meeting agreed service levels.
  • Undertake ad-hoc consultancy projects, with some travel to client sites required.
  • Draft articles for publication on the company website and social media platforms.
  • Support the out-of-hours service, providing 24/7 telephone cover on a rota.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or working towards Level 5 (desirable).
  • Generalist HR experience dealing with complex ER and HR cases.
  • Experience in drafting and advising on HR processes, policies, and procedures, with up-to-date knowledge of Employment law and case law.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and on own initiative and autonomously.
  • IT skills, including Windows (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Driving license and use of own vehicle (desirable).
