We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Learning Support Assistant to join our team at LONG-TERM TEACHERS LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting teachers in the classroom and working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students.

The ideal candidate will have a patient and caring approach, with a passion for supporting students with their next steps in education. They will be responsible for managing classroom resources, taking children on trips and visits, and having lunch with children who struggle socially.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teachers in the classroom to ensure a smooth learning environment
  • Working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students to address their individual needs
  • Managing classroom resources to ensure they are easily accessible to all students
  • Taking children on trips and visits to enhance their learning experience
  • Having lunch with children who struggle socially to promote social interaction and bonding
  • Managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe in a supportive and caring environment
