About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Team Educate Ltd. In this role, you will work closely with students with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, speech, language, and communication needs, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

Your day-to-day duties will vary depending on the needs of the students and the school, but your primary focus will be helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve personal and educational growth.

As a SEN TA, your responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting individual students or small groups with their classwork, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Assisting children with social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Helping children develop their confidence and independence.
  • Supporting students with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges.
  • Assisting teachers with planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet different learning needs.
