Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Administrator to join our team in Portsmouth/Southampton. As a Claims Administrator, you will be responsible for investigating and reporting on a mixed portfolio of Employers' Liability, Public Liability, and Motor injury claims. You will interact with claims staff, underwriters, policyholders, brokers, and claimants, and identify questionable information and apply correct procedures to identify potentially fraudulent claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and report on a mixed portfolio of Employers' Liability, Public Liability, and Motor injury claims.
  • Interact with claims staff, underwriters, policyholders, brokers, and claimants.
  • Identify questionable information and apply correct procedures to identify potentially fraudulent claims.
Requirements
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and capable of working on your own initiative.
  • Experience in EL/PL/Motor injury and/or property claims.
  • Ability to apply thorough knowledge of current case law, common law/statute, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possess accurate keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Insurance qualifications are desirable but equal consideration will also be given to those with relevant experience.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
