We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to individuals with learning disabilities or mental health conditions in their own homes or within our residential settings.
You will work closely with our service users to identify their needs and preferences, and develop personalized support plans to help them achieve their goals. This may involve assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores, as well as supporting individuals to engage in activities they enjoy, such as hobbies, education, and employment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a good communicator, able to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You will also need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
RequirementsTo apply for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience working in a care setting, preferably in a supported living environment.
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths, or relevant qualifications in a related field.
- An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
