Job Summary

Primary Care Careers is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in Colchester. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and build on your experience in primary care.

Main Duties

  • Respond to referrals, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment at first point of contact.
  • Support the development of our on-the-day emergency patient service.
  • Triage and prioritise home visit requests.
  • Evaluate clinical information and initiate appropriate treatment or referral.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Paramedic with HCPC registration and post-registration experience, ideally in primary care.

Desirable

  • Ability to assess, plan, treat, and refer patients confidently.
  • Experience of working to protocols and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of autonomous practice and multi-professional team working.
