We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry and Asphalt Plant General Fitter to join our team at Colas Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant and quarry facilities.
Main Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on asphalt plant and quarry equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Identify and address any anomalies or issues with equipment, planning and implementing maintenance schedules as needed.
- Manage technical information and interpret system performance to optimize equipment operation.
- Test and verify new equipment, anticipating potential breakdowns and controlling installation.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues, updating maintenance records and participating in repairs as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in an industrial environment, with a strong technical understanding of electrical or mechanical systems. You will also possess the ability to replace broken or defective components in machinery or equipment.
