Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and identifying potential jobs to ensure our facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Identify potential maintenance tasks and take action to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
  • Work closely with the engineering manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Perform a range of maintenance tasks, including painting and decorating, guttering, basic electrics, plumbing, and more.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of carrying out facility maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and identify potential tasks to carry out.
  • Valid driving license and ability to commute to the Penryn/Falmouth area.
