Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Foot Health Professional to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced advanced podiatrist to take on high-level responsibilities in managing complex foot health needs, including diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and biomechanics-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways to improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead the training and education of colleagues on advanced podiatric procedures and techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of high-risk patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment/management.
  • Advanced knowledge of ulcer and wound dressings, and Vascular/Doppler ultrasound interpretation.
  • Good interpersonal skills, effective listening/speaking skills appropriate to the needs of the recipient.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £49,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
