Senior Product Development Manager

At ACS Business Performance Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Manager to join our Engineering team. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in ensuring our products are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering support for the design and development team, maintaining project management processes, and delivering development projects on budget and time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and production engineering, with experience in performing feasibility studies, creating and checking detail drawings, and locating new and maintaining existing supplier collaboration partners. They will also be responsible for creating BOMs and planning sheets for new products and systems, ensuring that all data is provided to Operations in the correct format, and carrying out FMEA. Additionally, they will identify cost-out opportunities in the current range and define and deliver on projects to improve profitability.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a passion for people and technology, be well-organized and structured, and have an outgoing and energetic personality. They will also need to be fluent in English and have a HNC/D in Mechanical and Production Engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide manufacturing engineering support for the design and development team
* Maintain project management processes and deliver development projects on budget and time
* Perform feasibility studies on select NPIs
* Create and check detail drawings to BS
* Locate new and maintain existing supplier collaboration partners for product developments
* Create BOMs and planning sheets for new products and systems
* Ensure that all data is provided to Operations in the correct format
* Carry out FMEA
* Identify cost-out opportunities in the current range and define and deliver on projects

Requirements:

* HNC/D in Mechanical and Production Engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Degree
* Strong background in mechanical and production engineering
* Experience in performing feasibility studies, creating and checking detail drawings, and locating new and maintaining existing supplier collaboration partners
* Passion for people and technology
* Well-organized and structured
* Outgoing and energetic personality
* Fluent in English
