About the Role:

Sunset Hospitality Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our Omakase team at Sachi, a renowned Japanese restaurant and rooftop bar in Belgravia. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences that showcase the best of Japanese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Omakase team, ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain the freshness and quality of all ingredients.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the sushi and Omakase sections, optimizing workflow and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Omakase Chef within a high-end Japanese restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of Omakase techniques, with a strong understanding of Japanese culinary traditions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle the pressures of a busy kitchen.
  • Passion for food, working with high-quality ingredients, and hospitality.
