Job Summary

This is a new post for a GP with Extended Role (GPwER) in Respiratory Medicine, working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing respiratory care to adult people across Thurrock, Basildon, and Brentwood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing respiratory care to adult people across Thurrock, Basildon, and Brentwood.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with adult people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
  • Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • MRCGP.
  • On the GP Performers List.
