Respiratory Nurse or Respiratory Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Nurse or Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Respiratory Team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in the community.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with experience in managing patients with complex respiratory conditions. You will be responsible for promoting effective self-management of patients, providing professional intervention for community management, and actively identifying patients who would benefit from case management.
You will also contribute to both patient and professional education, deliver high-level respiratory care to COPD patients and other suitably identified respiratory conditions, and perform and/or interpret ABG and CBG results for oxygen therapy assessment and review.
In addition, you will support the delivery of the Respiratory Virtual Ward (RVW) service, which supports Admission Avoidance and Early Supported Discharge pathways. This service is 7-day, and staff will be expected to provide weekend cover and support with weekend working on a rostered basis.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in respiratory care, with experience in managing patients with complex respiratory conditions. You will also need to be able to work flexibly across South West Essex and be able to travel to clinic locations across the patch and also home visiting.
Certain respiratory qualifications and courses are mandatory, but we can support you in obtaining these if you do not already have them.
