As a Desktop Motor Engineer at Acorn Insurance, you will play a crucial role in assessing the feasibility of repairs versus total loss for commercial vehicles. You will utilize engineering tools and guidelines to make informed decisions, taking into account commercial factors and mitigating ancillary claim spend. Your responsibilities will include authorizing repairs, supervising the payment of accounts, and developing effective relationships with claims handlers, repairers, and intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain high-quality repairs that do not compromise vehicle safety.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for the business and customers.
