Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Ripple Education. As an SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children with special educational needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all pupils
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure children's needs are met effectively
- Encourage independence and development in pupils, both academically and socially
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy for individuals with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual students.
