About Us:

The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ) is part of the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations. Our mission is to provide an independent forum for exchanges between practitioners and analysts of journalism, and all those affected by it, while pursuing impartial scholarship of the highest standard.

We offer a range of programmes, including a Journalist Fellowship programme, Leadership programmes, and Research programmes, which aim to address the challenges facing journalism and news media worldwide. Our activities include publishing timely, accessible, and evidence-based analysis of important topics, as well as more specialised academic articles and book-length treatments.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £70,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of our organisation and making a significant impact in the field of journalistic research and education.
