Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Windows Build and Deployment Engineer to join our client in Southampton, Hampshire. As a Windows Build and Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for building and deploying Windows systems in accordance with industry best practices for secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Building and updating Windows systems in accordance with industry best practices for secure systems.
  2. Maintaining anti-virus and anti-malware configuration.
  3. Testing software patches in line with regression test scripts.
  4. Deploying and managing application deployment into system images.
  5. Supporting third-party vulnerability testing and audit of system builds.

Requirements:

  1. Must have desktop, EPOS build, and configuration experience.
  2. Experience of deployment tools, Ghost, Windows MDT, and WDS.
  3. Windows 7, Windows 10 build, and MS troubleshooting experience.
  4. Commercial experience in basic IT infrastructure.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Scripting (PowerShell/Python).
  2. Understanding of Windows licensing models.
  3. Windows or InfoSec industry certifications.
