Locum General Practitioner in Canterbury

ProfDoc is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join their team in Canterbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled GP to work in a supportive environment that values both modern approaches and traditional values in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a variety of practice duties, including face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Develop care plans for patients with long-term conditions
- Provide counselling and health education to patients
- Admit or discharge patients to and from the caseload and refer to other care providers as appropriate
- Support and supervise Physician Associates when required to ensure smooth running of the practice
- GMC registration and licence to practice
- Relevant GP qualification and experience
