General Practitioner Opportunity in Canterbury

ProfDoc is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join their team in Canterbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled GP to work in a supportive environment that values both modern approaches and traditional values in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake a variety of practice duties, including face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and rare home/care home visits
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers
  • Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
  • Develop care plans for patients with long-term conditions
  • Provide counselling and health education to patients
  • Admit or discharge patients to and from the caseload and refer to other care providers as appropriate
  • Support and supervise Physician Associates when required to ensure smooth running of the practice

Requirements

  • GMC registration and licence to practice
  • Relevant GP qualification and experience
