We are pleased to be partnering with an award-winning law firm in St Neots to find a skilled Family Solicitor for a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities of the Family Solicitor

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Work on complex Private Law, children, divorce, and financial matters cases, requiring strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, networking and promoting business through strategic events and social media engagement.
  • Resolve client claims handling settlements or prepare for court proceedings, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review court documents, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Undertake own advocacy, representing clients in court with confidence and poise.

Requirements for a successful Family Solicitor

  • A minimum of 5-10 years post-qualification experience within family law, demonstrating expertise and depth of knowledge.
  • Proven track record of success in Private Law, children, divorce, and financial matters, showcasing exceptional commercial awareness and acumen.
  • Accreditation in Family Mediation, including MIAMs, highlighting a commitment to collaborative dispute resolution.
  • Excellent commercial understanding, coupled with a thorough grasp of the legal market, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, combined with a high level of accuracy, ensuring flawless document preparation and presentation.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word, facilitating efficient case management and document production.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and willing to undertake own advocacy, demonstrating a proactive approach to case progression.
  • Commercially minded and forward-thinking, able to drive business growth and development.
