Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. Our client is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer, with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience at every dealership.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Test, diagnose, and resolve faults in a timely and efficient manner
  • Suggest and implement improvements to processes and procedures
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems, inspecting components for wear and tear
  • Repair and replace parts as needed, ensuring high-quality standards
  • Liaise with customers and support other technicians in the workshop
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment and techniques
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards and efficiency targets
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization
  • Prior experience of working in a main automotive dealer environment is preferred but not essential
  • VOSA-approved MOT tester is an advantage but not essential
  • Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent
