Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: Up to £36,026 + bonus - OTE £42,000

Full Time and Permanent - 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday with optional Saturday morning shifts available (paid as overtime)

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Utilise your technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve faults.
  • Suggest and make improvements to processes.
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Inspect components for wear and tear.
  • Repair and replace parts.
  • Check vehicle subsystems.
  • Liaise with customers where necessary.
  • Support other Technicians in the Workshop.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment.
  • The capability of working to the highest quality standards.
  • Great team player and communication skills.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Prior experience in working to efficiency targets.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable, but not essential.
  • VOSA-approved MOT testers have an advantage but not essential.
  • Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent.
