About the Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Forklift Truck & Powered Access Engineer. As an Apprentice Field Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as fault finding, maintenance, service, and repair of Materials Handling and Powered Access Equipment.

This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with customers and other members of the Briggs' Equipment Group teams. If you are enthusiastic about engineering and possess a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Lift Truck Maintenance & Repair Principles SCQF Level 7
  • Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic
  • Basic knowledge of the principles of health and safety
  • Able to follow instructions and problem solve
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and a consistent positive attitude is key to success
