About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide specialist assessment and treatment services for patients with paediatric spinal conditions and spinal deformity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced musculoskeletal spinal assessments of patients, including those with complex presentations, and formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Provide specialist advice and second opinions to peers, medical colleagues, and other health professionals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive discharge plans for patients.
  • Work closely with Trust Orthopaedic Spinal and Radiology consultants to provide a specialist assessment and treatment service.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pathways and guidelines for the management of paediatric spinal conditions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and MSc in a relevant clinical area or equivalent post-registration courses.
  • Significant experience working in a paediatric outpatient physiotherapy environment, including management of complex paediatric spinal conditions.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
