Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Assess residents' physical, psychological, and social needs, considering lifestyle, gender, and background, and create individualised care plans with patient, family, and team involvement.">
  3. Continuously evaluate care needs, ensuring care plans and records are current and accurate; seek to improve care delivery.">
  4. Communicate the ageing process clearly and how it affects health and lifestyle, conducting daily visits to assess and maximise residents' comfort, dignity, and independence.">
  5. Lead and supervise multi-disciplinary shift teams, including staff orientation, appraisal, training, development, coordination, support, and performance evaluation.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN).">
  • Experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours.">
  • Strong communication, administrative, and computer skills.">
  • A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.">
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork.">
