Mental Health Specialist Consultant

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Consultant to join our team in East Conwy. As a key member of our community mental health services, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management for adults aged 18 upwards with serious and enduring mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical input to patients under secondary care CMHT when required by the care coordinator.
- Deliver a needs-led service, managing those above 65 until their needs are more appropriately met by the Older Persons Mental Health Services.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Evidence of training in core and specialist competencies for community psychiatry.
