About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Bioinformatics Lead to join our Machine Learning and Bioinformatics team in Cambridge, UK, or Boston, USA.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge bioinformatics solutions for life-changing products and services.
  • Collaborate with international teams to identify, plan, and deliver production-quality, cloud-based solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor bioinformatic developers and analysts.
  • Lead projects and engage in long-term strategic planning.
  • Work on challenging projects and end-to-end bioinformatics processes.


Requirements



  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Bio-Medical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years or more of relevant experience.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with bioinformatics libraries.
  • Strong understanding of data and statistical analysis.
  • Leadership experience and ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
