Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, and final account settlements. This role involves continuously monitoring project risk and opportunity schedules to assess cost impacts.

  • Prepare and update cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and subcontractor accruals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to contractual and financial procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in resolving subcontractor disputes and support effective contract administration.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, with proven experience in managing housing development projects, particularly mixed-tenure schemes.

  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
  • Proficiency in using construction and project management software such as Bluebeam, Coins, and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract, including JCT and affordable housing agreements.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
