Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading teaching trust, comprising Addenbrookes Hospital and the Rosie Hospital. We provide accessible high-quality healthcare for local people and regional specialist services.

We are seeking a motivated and organised UK-registered nurse to support the Hepatitis B vaccination programme for all new and existing low-clearance and dialysis patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Organising and running vaccinations clinics at Cambridge Dialysis Centre.
  • Planning and booking patients' courses of vaccination treatment and ensuring treatment effectiveness.
  • Supporting satellite units in setting up their vaccination programmes.
  • Collaborating with medical staff to assist in dialysis line insertion lists in the vascular access department.

The ideal candidate will have proven clinical practice in direct dialysis experience, self-directed work, and organisation skills. A good understanding of NMC guidelines and professional conduct is essential.

This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role

An estimated salary between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, is available for this position.

Additionally, we offer development opportunities, a range of benefits, and a welcome subsidy of £1000 for Band 5 and Band 6 nurses.
