Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Bupa Global. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently, and that overdue debt is recovered in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process daily bank receipts for application to our operating system
- Handle the initiation of automated and part-automated payment files to our operating system
- Administer the partly automated credit control notification file to ensure customers are advised of any outstanding balance
- Administer the file despatch between Bupa Global and our support partners
- Handle inbound enquiries from our support partners to resolution
- Support the reconciliation of bank account statements and credit card statements
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, such as Anti-Money laundering compliance and sanction compliance
- Appropriate level of experience in credit control function or similar account management specialist role, ideally within the insurance industry
- A track record of achieving and exceeding targeted business results/KPIs, including achievement and evidence of high volume transactional work
- Highly numerate with ability to process financial data quickly, and strong attention to detail
- Experience of dealing directly with customers and communicating to them in a clear, concise and professional manner
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
- Track record of working effectively within a team environment
- Track record of achieving and exceeding targeted objectives
