Credit Controller

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team at Page Personnel Finance. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's cash flow and ensuring timely payments from our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Credit Status Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of our clients to identify potential debtors and credit risks.
- Credit Control System Setup: Assist clients in implementing a credit control system that enables periodic debt repayment.
- Cash and Debtor Targets: Ensure daily cash and debtor targets are met, maintaining a healthy cash flow for our business.
- Debtor Communication: Effectively communicate with debtors through calls and emails to notify them of outstanding invoices.
- Debt Management: Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure proper debt management and minimize bad debt.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and purchasing activities.
- Payment History Monitoring: Monitor payment history to identify changes and take necessary actions to prevent bad debt.
- Advice and Recommendations: Offer expert advice and recommendations on queries regarding accounts receivable.
- Customer Feedback: Respond promptly to customer feedback and concerns.
- Legal Action: Commence legal action against debtors in cases of delayed payment.
- Statement Forwarding: Oversee the forwarding of monthly statements to customers to keep them updated on debt collection activities.
- Debt Repayment Terms: Report and discuss appropriate terms and conditions for debt repayment.
- Payment Processing: Post payments to our accounting system.
- Customer Returns and Queries: Handle customer returns and queries efficiently.
- Previous Experience: Proven experience in credit and collections.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service and telephony skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and credit systems.
Salary: £29-32,000
