Job Overview

We are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant for Students with Emotional Needs, you will play a key role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, and be able to provide high-quality support to enable them to access the curriculum.

You will be based in a Quedgeley school, which is part of an alternative provision that supports students with challenging behaviour. The school aims to provide a personalised learning experience that recognises all members of the community as equals.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing individualised support to students, assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, and helping to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only. The salary for this role is £26,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
