Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Lead to oversee a wide range of projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating closely with our Capital Projects Manager to strategize and execute capital investments, ensuring that Weetabix Capital funds align perfectly with our business strategy and specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project objectives and define the full scope of work, ensuring all necessary specifications are met.
- Conduct a fair tender process for project proposals, managing terms and conditions, and handling contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budgets and timelines for smooth project implementation.
- Expertly manage project risks, including scheduling and resolving conflicts.
- Review and approve RAMS, conduct required training, and oversee high-risk activities in compliance with legislation and Weetabix policies.
- Efficiently complete project closure, summarizing benefits and achievements, and obtaining necessary sign-off from relevant bodies.
Requirements
Key Qualifications
- Hold a recognized Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Possess appropriate safety qualifications (MSTS, FAAW, and IOSH).
- Strong alignment to the Weetabix values.
- Ability to demonstrate ongoing professional development.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
