About the Role

We are seeking an academic with general research skills to join our team supporting students on the MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences and Mental Health Sciences Research at UCL's Division of Psychiatry.

The successful candidate will have a significant role in supporting current research projects, including second supervision and marking. They will also participate in delivery of teaching in keeping with their skills, module co-leadership, organising projects, sitting on the departmental extenuating circumstances panel, helping to organise journal clubs, supporting a study group, supporting personal tutors (staff), personal tutoring students, promotion and management of our programmes.

For Grade 9 appointments, the postholder will also be involved in the line management of staff and overall organisation of the programme.

Appointment Details:

  • The post is full-time and is a sabbatical leave cover available from January until March.
  • This post is offered as a Lecturer (£52, – £61, per annum) or Associate Professor (£66, – £72, per annum).

About You

The successful candidate will have a strong background in research and teaching, with the ability to support students in their academic and professional development. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
