Job Title: Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing the functional capacity of individuals and providing accurate and unbiased reports to support informed decision-making.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong observational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and produce timely reports. You will be working with a variety of clients, including those with physical and mental health conditions, and will need to be able to adapt to different situations and environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of individuals' functional capacity
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality reports that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and targets
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Requirements
  • At least one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with a valid PIN and no restrictions
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper
  • Ability to work efficiently, produce timely reports, and meet targets
  • Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access
Working Hours

We are looking for someone who is able to work a standard 37.5 hour week, with flexible working hours to be agreed with your line manager after training. You will be required to work between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break.
