We are seeking an experienced and passionate English lecturer to join our GCSE and Functional Skills team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials and resources for GCSE and Functional Skills English courses
- Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and performance
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans and policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Relevant degree in English or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English courses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
