We are seeking an experienced and innovative English lecturer to join our GCSE and Functional Skills team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. As a key member of our cross-college English and Mathematics department, you will play a vital role in raising the standard and awareness of English across the college.

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across all areas within the curriculum area
• Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, and developing flexible learning materials
• Contribute to the marketing of the College, Faculty, and Department

• Relevant degree (or equivalent) in English or a related field
• Teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) or willingness to obtain
• Teaching experience, ideally within the FE sector
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
