About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English lecturer to join our GCSE and Functional Skills team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials to meet the needs of our students
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching and learning environment
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in English or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
  • Experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
