About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and approachable Customer Service Assistant to join our team at Leeds Building Society. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and providing support with all branch-based products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with opening savings accounts and discussing available products and services
- Make follow-up calls and take incoming calls to discuss customer needs and provide solutions
- Complete daily administrative tasks, including booking appointments, scanning, and letter writing
- Ensure customer records are accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
- Experience of working with customers delivering exceptional service
- Strong attention to detail with a good level of numeracy to conduct accurate cash transactions
- Resilient and able to handle challenging customer situations
- Passion and drive to achieve good customer outcomes
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Office or in-house computer packages
- Ideal education to GCSE level including Maths and English
