We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Indirect Tax Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all UK Indirect Tax matters, including VAT compliance processes and tax returns reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide business advisory services on all indirect tax matters across the UK business
- Manage VAT compliance processes and tax returns reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Manage the UK Indirect Tax Assistant, setting objectives and managing deliverables
- Document and maintain the Tax Risk Register for SAO compliance
- Work with the Group Head of Indirect Tax and key stakeholders to implement longer-term processes as part of the indirect tax strategy
- Provide training and raise awareness of indirect tax matters
- Manage and mitigate risks, identifying and optimizing opportunities and tax savings
Requirements:
- Experience in indirect tax, with a focus on VAT compliance and tax returns reporting
- Line management experience and experience of SAP will be an advantage
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact on the business and work with a global retail business. The role is based in the London office, with travel to business units across the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands.
