Pro-Tax is seeking a Private Client Tax Supervisor to join their growing team in Ealing. As a key member of the Private Client Tax team, you will be responsible for managing a varied personal client tax portfolio, dealing with all routine personal tax compliance and ad hoc advisory work.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of personal clients with varied sources of income, including earned and investment income.
- Deal with partnerships and high net worth individuals, providing tax advice and guidance.
- Liaise with colleagues outside the Private Client team on client matters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Advise on capital gains tax issues, including experience with Self-Assessment and tax computations.
- Provide basic private client advisory work, including EIS, VCT, and SEIS investment reliefs.
- Stay up-to-date with UK tax residence and domicile rules, applying this knowledge to support client work.
- Experience working with private clients and proprietors of owner-managed businesses.
- Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, including HMRC guidance.
- Ability to proactively use tax legislation and resources to support client work.
