Project Manager Collections Care

The National Museums.org is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the development of the Active Gallery within Phase 3 of their major capital development programme. This ambitious project aims to reimagine the museum experience for 21st century audiences, celebrating the centre for learning and creativity in Carlisle.
This fixed-term post requires strong engagement and co-curation skills, working closely with colleagues, designers, external partners, and the community. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic team environment, delivering a unique and transformational project for Carlisle and Cumbria.
- Liaise with colleagues, designers, and external partners to develop the Active Gallery concept.
- Collaborate with the community to ensure the project meets their needs and expectations.
- Manage the development process, ensuring timely delivery and budget management.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven project management skills, with experience in cultural or heritage projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
