We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Lead Commissioning Manager (LCxM).

Job Description:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, promoting Sygna's services and identifying new opportunities.
  • Ensure total project completion aligns with client expectations.
  • Adhere to and promote Sygna's health and safety standards.
  • Contribute to developing excellent practices and procedures for business operations.
  • Deliver 3-4 concurrent projects while maintaining a capability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Assist the Divisional Director in bidding for new opportunities, providing technical input to bid documents and presenting at post-tender interviews.
  • Provide a monthly report to the Senior Management Team detailing key project risks, potential opportunities to increase project margins, and accurate project progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the 'Delivery Tracker' fortnightly/monthly and ensure it is followed by the Divisional Director.
  • Understand the project scope, fee, and deliverables, ensuring their successful delivery.
  • Attend meetings with the Client's commissioning management representative, sub-contractor/specialist contractors commissioning management team, and other team members.
  • Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the commissioning plan.
  • Compile and issue weekly progress reports to clients.
  • Advise on commissioning-related programming items or complete a commissioning program if required.
  • Assist the Divisional Director in recruitment within the sector.
  • Ensure compliance with Sygna's H&S standards on all projects.
  • Forecast labour requirements for the project and inform the director if changes are needed.
  • Lead the Cx Review of design information related to projects under the CxM's control.

Financial:

  • Assist the Divisional Director in achieving forward order booking to ensure a sustainable business.
  • Aware of the Minimum Gross Margin on all projects – agreed with the Divisional Director on a project-by-project basis.
  • Continuously maximise opportunities and minimise risks on all issues that influence project margin.
  • Ensure proper order placement of subcontractors according to company procedures and best practice.
  • Maintain relationships with external consultants/clients for future win work opportunities.
  • Highlight any risk before it occurs wherever possible to the Divisional Director.
